Help Us Care for the Herd
Our farm is home to a special group of animals who play an important role in the healing work we do. Through our Animal Assisted Psychotherapy program, clients have the opportunity to connect with horses, goats, and guinea pigs in a calm, supportive environment where meaningful therapeutic experiences can unfold.
Caring for a herd is both rewarding and costly. Our 11 horses, 3 goats, and 7 guinea pigs require daily care, feed, veterinary services, and ongoing farm maintenance to ensure they remain healthy and able to support the individuals and families we serve.
Donations help us provide excellent care for the animals who help make this work possible. Your support directly contributes to the wellbeing of our herd and helps us continue offering unique therapeutic experiences on the farm.
Every contribution—big or small—makes a meaningful difference.
Volunteer
We are always looking for capable hands to help support our farm. Volunteers play an important role in helping us maintain the space that allows our Animal Assisted Psychotherapy program to thrive.
Volunteer work on the farm is primarily hands-on labor and may include:
Mucking stalls and paddocks
Picking up leaves and sticks around the property
Shoveling gravel and sand
Moving hay bales
Repairing or maintaining fencing
Helping tend to the garden
This work helps keep our animals healthy and our farm safe and welcoming for the clients we serve.
If you enjoy being outdoors, don’t mind getting your hands dirty, and want to support meaningful mental health work in the community, we would love to hear from you.
